I really enjoyed Mere Christianity for its profound theology. It presented some very interesting and thought-provoking ideas about the Christian faith. However, I must say that The Screwtape Letters is an absolute must-read!

Despite being written by CS Lewis, who is known for his complex and sometimes challenging writing, The Screwtape Letters is actually rather easy to read. The format of the book, with letters from a senior devil to his nephew, makes it engaging and accessible.

The characters are well-developed and the story is full of humor and satire. It offers a unique perspective on the spiritual battle that takes place within each of us. I would highly recommend The Screwtape Letters to anyone who is interested in theology or just looking for a good read.

Deep and mind-blowing!

Lewis has an extraordinary way of presenting Christianity. He expounds upon it as if it were the most self-evident and rational concept in existence. This is no small feat, as even for a Christian, there are often moments when one thinks, "This is crazy!" However, Lewis manages to clearly delineate what Christianity truly is and the reasons behind its logical coherence.

The Screwtape Letters is a remarkable work that assists readers in grappling with the profound concept of the Divine Conflict. It provides valuable insights into Satan's insidious agenda, helping us to better understand the spiritual battles that rage around us. By reading this book, we are able to gain a deeper appreciation for the complexity of the Christian faith and the forces that seek to undermine it.

Traumatic and unnerving, this story takes readers on a journey as the uncles' passions for his nephew are gradually exposed. It is truly a sinful book that allows you to catch a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes happenings in the supernatural world. The moment when he was transformed into a centipede was the most exciting part, filled with great suspense.

On the other hand, "Mere Christianity" is a remarkable work that answers all the questions I have long wondered about. It has made me resolute in listening to His call and acting in accordance with it, offering my nature to God. Before reading this, I never truly understood the resurrection. Now, through the profound teachings in this book, I have gained a deeper understanding and appreciation of this crucial aspect of the Christian faith.

Both of these works, in their own unique ways, have had a significant impact on my thoughts and beliefs, leaving me with much to ponder and reflect upon.

Mere Christianity and Screwtape Letters by CS Lewis, one of my favorite authors, along with a few of his books and hundreds of other works, are reviewed on my blog. The best gig there is https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/20.... Your feedback is precious.

CS Lewis is a glorious thinker and novelist who makes me think more seriously about religion. Since he was a devoted Christian, it makes me wonder if that could be the right path. I am still an atheist, maybe a skeptic, as I am contemplating a switch. Only God knows.

Recently, I have seen that Positive Psychology appears to confirm some of the precepts of religion, especially Christianity, which was inspired by Judaism. In the film Heretic, Hugh Grant compares the three big faiths to Monopoly and Landlord. He also extends the parallel to a song where the copyright was infringed, suggesting that Christianity took ideas from Judaism.

Why do we have only under one percent Jewish people in the world? Hugh Grant answers that they do not sell or proselytize. However, Sonja Lyubomirsky's book The How of Happiness suggests that practicing religion and spirituality can be a source of happiness. Nathaniel Branden, on the other hand, is sure of the opposite.

The first Happiness activity in Lyubomirsky's book is Gratitude, which is a leit motif in many studies and works on positivity. This makes a connection with faith, where thanking God is at the core. The criticism is that this is a domineering Deity, but we do not know how God thinks.

Just like Bill Clinton said, "it depends on what your definition of is is." Maybe it was in the Monica Lewinsky case. I was also considering that I could be ungrateful if The Almighty created me. To be grateful is the key and a happiness activity. We could also think of Pascal's wager.

Creationists take the Bible literally, but that is the wrong interpretation. The stories were allegories. Christ did not produce many fish and bread from thin air. Now for my standard closing with a question and invitation. Maybe you have an idea on how we could make more than a million dollars with this https://realinibarzoi.blogspot.com/20....

There is also the matter of working for AT&T. They asked me to be their Representative for Romania and Bulgaria on the Calling Card side. It was a lot of activity for a small amount of money. If you can help get them to pay some dues or have an idea how it can happen, let me know.

As for my role in the Revolution that killed Ceausescu, it is here http://realini.blogspot.com/2022/03/r.... Some favorite quotes from To The Hermitage and other works are also included.

C.S. Lewis is my hero.

He was a remarkable writer and thinker whose works have had a profound impact on my life. Lewis is best known for his Chronicles of Narnia series, which takes readers on a magical adventure through a world of talking animals, witches, and heroes. But his writing goes beyond just children's literature. He also wrote many works of theology and philosophy, exploring the deep questions of life, faith, and morality.

Lewis' ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple and engaging way is truly inspiring. His writing is full of wisdom and insight, and it has helped me to better understand myself and the world around me. Whether I'm reading one of his fictional stories or one of his non-fiction works, I always come away with a new perspective and a deeper appreciation for the beauty and mystery of life.

In conclusion, C.S. Lewis is my hero because of his remarkable talent as a writer, his deep understanding of the human condition, and his ability to inspire and encourage others. His works will continue to be a source of inspiration and guidance for me for many years to come.
