This is one of my Persian to-read books. It is a Venetian account of Persia in the 16th century and is published by Gibbs memorial press, a notable antiquarian orientalist trust. Sometimes I wonder why I have the desire to read such obscure and hard-to-find texts. But I guess the internet is to blame. I was browsing on amazon and noticed that the book is quite expensive considering it contains only 480 pages. However, I still hope that it is worth the price. Maybe the detailed and unique account of Persia during that era will provide me with valuable insights and knowledge. Although it may be a challenging read, I believe that the effort will be worthwhile. I look forward to delving into the pages of this book and uncovering the mysteries and stories it holds. Who knows, perhaps it will open up a whole new world of understanding and appreciation for Persian history and culture.
