The moment I flipped through this book at the library, I knew it was going to be good.

As it turns out, I was more than right. This book is truly interesting and provides really detailed explanations about the Disney animated movies.

I, for one, found it extremely hard to put down, as I have a great love for everything Disney.

It is a spectacular book because the author included categories such as "Plot Holes", "Bloopers", and "Hidden Images".

The plot holes really make you think a bit more deeply about the movies, while the bloopers and hidden images test your memory.

This book also offers a lot of explanations on how the final movies were made in the way they were and the different possibilities that the Disney staff came up with.

In conclusion, it is a great and interesting book, highly recommended for all Disney lovers! Or just people who like to pick out mistakes and such.

It's a must-read for anyone interested in the world of Disney animated movies.

I borrowed this from my brother's girlfriend to continue my behind-the-scenes Disney reading.

As the subtitle indicates, this book delves into each Disney animated feature (up to Tarzan). It explores the original story source, how it was modified for the movie, including bloopers, hidden elements, and cutting room floor tidbits. It also examines the impact, if any, that the movie has had on the theme parks. Since music is an essential part of every Disney animated feature, there is usually a discussion about the songwriting process for the movie as well.

The history of the Disney company, with its highs and lows, is neatly summarized in this timeline. I relished getting an insider's perspective on moviemaking in general and Disney specifically. The sidebars and quizzes are a delightful addition. Koenig does cite his sources in a general way, as well as specific items for each movie. There is an index too.

It is recommended for Disney enthusiasts or for anyone interested in the world of animated features.

This was a truly enjoyable book to read, primarily because I have a deep love for Disney movies.

It was extremely interesting to delve into the backstory behind the productions. The revelations presented in the book actually managed to change my perspective on a few of the classic Disney films.

For example, I had no inkling whatsoever that most of the animators despised working on "Sword in the Stone". This piece of information made me feel a little sad as I have always had a great affection for that particular movie.

Nonetheless, I still relished the inside view that the book provided. I couldn't help but wish that it could be updated to incorporate today's modern classics as well. The book commences with the story of "Snow White" and concludes with "Tarzan", covering a significant span of Disney's animated history.

Overall, it was a captivating read that offered valuable insights into the world of Disney animation.

It was all right.

There were a few facts that I had never heard of before.

It's quite nice to add this to my Disney shelf, if for nothing else.

It gives me a sense of completion and adds a new item to my collection.

Maybe I'll discover more interesting things about Disney as I look at it from time to time.

It's always exciting to learn something new, especially when it comes to a beloved topic like Disney.

Even if it's just a small addition to my shelf, it holds a special place in my heart.

I'm looking forward to seeing what else I can add to my Disney collection in the future.
