Lots of ideas are floating around in our minds. We have so many thoughts and concepts that we want to express. However, sometimes the presentation of these ideas can be a bit disjointed. It's like we have all these puzzle pieces, but we're not quite sure how to fit them together in a seamless way.

Perhaps we need to take a step back and organize our thoughts more effectively. We could start by creating an outline or a mind map to help us see the connections between our ideas. This way, we can present them in a more logical and coherent manner.

Another approach could be to focus on one idea at a time and develop it fully before moving on to the next. This will prevent our presentation from becoming too scattered and confusing. By taking the time to clarify and expand on each idea, we can ensure that our audience understands our message clearly.

In conclusion, while having lots of ideas is a great thing, it's important to present them in a way that is easy to follow and understand. With a bit of planning and organization, we can turn our disjointed ideas into a powerful and engaging presentation.

I was truly excited when I started reading this book. However, to my great disappointment, it failed to meet my expectations.

It was inundated with an excessive number of quotes, examples, and stories about well-known figures such as Jack Welch, Alexander Graham Bell, Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, and companies like Intel. It seems that authors these days have a tendency to rely on recycling these familiar tales.

So few books nowadays possess truly original content, and unfortunately, this one falls into that category. As I was engrossed in reading it, my mind couldn't help but continuously protest, "Please stop repeating these same old tired stories. How many more times will I have to endure reading these *@ examples? Write something original!!!"

Edward de Bono, for instance, wrote about how to unlock one's creativity through the use of lateral thinking. In stark contrast, this author seems to have focused on how to be completely unoriginal.

It is truly a pity that in a world where new ideas and fresh perspectives are so highly valued, this book fails to offer anything unique or innovative.

Most companies are constructed with the intention of continuous improvement, rather than for discontinuous innovation.

What is the book about?

“The Leader’s Guide to Lateral Thinking Skills” is penned by Paul Sloane, who is the author of numerous books on lateral thinking and management.

This book aims to provide us with the lateral tools and techniques to transform our organization into a powerhouse of innovation. Lateral Thinking, a term coined by Edward de Bono, involves solving problems through an indirect and creative approach. Ada had a funny story with this book.

I bought this book when I was in Singapore with my wife, a few months after we got married. Usually, when I go to Singapore (my favorite place), I have to buy "something" that makes me happy. However, this time I didn't get much. So I just picked up a few books as souvenirs, mostly management books because of my profession as a management consultant.

To be honest, when I got home, I never really read this book, only a few pages, and it was neatly stored with other management books that I hadn't read yet.

Until one day I got a job at a foreign consulting firm that was handling BNI. Automatically, I spent much more time on the bus to get to BNI Dukuh Atas. Then I started using the time on the bus to "pay off the debt" of those books. This happened in 2006, three years later.

It turns out that the content of this book is remarkable, and I regret reading it late. This book is about how we can make decisions through actions that are "out of the ordinary way of thinking", forcing us to really "think outside the box" in a drastic way.

Lateral Thinking is highly recommended for finding new breakthroughs.

Another positive thing is that it forces me to read books that I haven't had time to read, for fear of missing that opportunity.

This is one of my favourite books in recent time!

It has truly captured my heart and imagination. The story is engaging from the very beginning, filled with interesting characters and a captivating plot. The author's writing style is so vivid that it makes me feel as if I am right there in the midst of the action.

The book explores various themes such as love, friendship, and self-discovery, which makes it not only entertaining but also thought-provoking. I have found myself constantly thinking about the characters and their experiences long after I have finished reading a chapter.

Moreover, the book is beautifully illustrated, which adds an extra layer of charm to the overall reading experience. The illustrations bring the story to life and help me to better visualize the scenes and characters.

In conclusion, this book is a must-read for anyone who loves a good story. It has become a cherished part of my collection and I highly recommend it to others.

Today, many CEOs, directors, and senior managers focus more on improving business efficiency, with the desire to promote smoother business operations and better services for customers.

They work extremely hard and think they are doing very well, but the reality is not always the case. Because improving step by step in business is not enough. Besides enhancing the quality of current business activities, leaders need to spend time looking for completely new ways to meet customer needs.

They should choose and apply different and better methods to help the company achieve its goals in the process of operation. They should initiate new and innovative ideas, be bold and creative, even though in reality some will fail and others will succeed.

But above all, they must encourage and empower employees, and be willing to apply bold and creative methods to take advantage of new opportunities.
