So sorry, everyone. But I just am not the kind of person who can see the benefit in reading contrived mysteries. Please forgive me and be tolerant. It seems that in these mysteries, it's always either a suffering brilliant detective who messed up his lifestyle before, after, or during his detecting, or some eternally, uber-affectionate perfect couple with beauty, brains, athleticism, or whatever qualities you want to award them. I'm really tired of the twists and turns. I often figure out one person at fault in the beginning, and finally, when realizing the denouement, I find that I'm right. There was also a sub-plot that was completely unconnected and seemed like a waste of time. Why did we even need it? Moreover, the crimes of the main plot and the sub-plot were solved in just a matter of days. How about that? OK, mystery fans, don't be angry. But it's really a matter of taste, and unfortunately, I don't have that particular taste for these kinds of mysteries.

I am truly enjoying this series. At present, I have reached either #12 or #13.
