Gorgeous book & it's a movie out right now.

A great read

Sometimes wordy, but a great book.

Loved it!

This book haven't translated into my native language. When I started reading it I thought why, but as I dive in it became clear that this book do not much our social norms. Nevertheless, I enjoyed Gabriel Garcia Marquez's "Love in Time of Cholera"

This isn't the version I read, but this is a wonderful story with vivid detail.

One of my favorite books. Just read the book don't watched the movie, the books it's way better than the movie.

A very interesting book... but I found myself quite hooked.

Creepy stalker, womanizing, statatory rapist gets the woman in the end.

A little slow. He likes the grassy smell of his asparagus pee and I think that's a little cool.

I would love to hear from someone who liked this book because I feel like I must have missed something. I didn't like it AT ALL, and it has received such acclaim, not to mention a Nobel prize. Maybe things are lost in translation, maybe my expectations were too high as I loved 100 Years of Solitude. I found it rambling. I would read a couple pages and find I had been thinking about something else for nearly the entire time. The characters became boring and overall it just didn't do it for me.
