This was a little ridiculous and a lot about sex, but I still really liked it. So much talk of sex I can’t imagine this being studied in any class preceding college level. I was pretty invested in the plot since there were so many injustices to be corrected. Angelo and Isabella were very entertaining characters with some great lines. The Duke was a butthead and perhaps my least favorite.

Measure for measure is great. Every scene got some shit going on. So interesting also. Its a timeless classic. The core themes stay relevant even now. It describes a world where justice is arbitrary, everyone is driven by sex and self interest and is a fake bitch. A timeless classic. Ergo it will still be relevant for centuries to come.

Update: i mistake my BRILLIANT POG CHAMP 5 STAR UNDERSTANDING of the play as the play actually being 5 stars. Nah fam, its kinda messy, some plot lines have shitty resolutions and dun rly make sense. Pacing a bit wack also. Downgraded to 4 stars. Not his best work fr
