Find me a more enjoyable collection of essays, short of maybe H.L. Mencken. Money and How it Gets That Way -- a classic.

Some great pieces, but as in so many of these kids of collections it also feels fragmented. A little too much pseudo-spiritual woo for my taste, but eloquently and passionately presented.

I keep rereading this book for it's ability to center mtself when things become unstable.
