this might be the most monumental work in Miller’s œuvre. thisis profoundly visionary and his supreme command of language is never more apparent. his meanderings and many indulgences serve to fertalise the soil of the book to grow forth some of the most deep and illuminating thoughts and passages i’ve ever read. Tropic of Cancer is the go to for a reason but trust in Miller that this takes all
of that to much more revelatory places.

It took A LONG time to get through this big boy but the pay off was the ending. He started rolling and, for me, once they went down to Asheville the book started getting good. He ended with some philosophical banter. The last page made me feel some type of way.

On to Nexus.
