Love this book - I loved it as a kid for its solid plot, still love it for its great characters and how it talks about the realities of racism in ballet.

I love everything about this book! I have read it many times since getting it for my birthday at the age of 9.

Ballet Lovers are bitten by the ballet bug yet again in this charming story of a girl who dreams of becoming a ballerina, your daughters or even yourself will be enchanted by this tale of dreams, believing in yourself and many more morels. You will follow the main character as she is first is bitten by the ballet bug and all the way to the end. Read it, it's wonderful.
