Havn't read it yet, but I hear it's a good series so I plan on reading it soon.

Cirque Du Freak was the first book that really caught Brand's attention. He was in 4th or 5th grade at the time and I though it was much to gross for him. Of course, he went on to read everything Darren Shan has ever written and this was the book that got him involved in the genre. Great series. We've passed it to all of his friends!

I've been reading this series with my teenage nephew. I was skeptical at first, but the story line really is good and scarrry. I've read up to the 5th book so far

i have been reading all of the cirque du freak books and nothing else - kind of keeps you wanting more. on number 9 of 12. i like them - but i like vampire books too!

Although I enjoyed the stories and the world Shan created, I am not a fan of his style of writing.
