Разные эмоции у меня были во время чтения... вначале совсем не понравилась: проституция, наркотики- все это не привлекает меня совсем. В момент, когда уже хотела бросить, сюжет затянул меня своей историей, и я с удовольствием дочитала книгу. Поставила три звёздочки как среднее между 4 и 2 за конец и начало соответственно :)

Interesting comedy about a UK seriously considering legalising all drugs with an ensemble cast of MPs, 'celebs', prostitutes, media etc. The comedy doesn't work so well in the areas of sexual and physical abuse by a number of men as part of the story, which sort of sours the book a bit - although on my initial read I didn't seem to feel this. What makes the book above the norm, is the rationale Elton uses to start the debate about decriminalising drugs, all drugs... that rationale? Common sense!!! 7 out of 12

Brilliant

This is a wonderful brave book. The issues are well explored and I actually cared about the people involved. Sad to finish

gotta admit it made me laugh quite a few times. besides the humor, it was god awful though. i have nothing against the pro-drug message of the story, quite on the contrary, but it doesn't change the fact that i didn't give a fuck about any of the characters, and the ending was so unmotivated and pointless that it was downright offensive.
