I am the 4814th reviewer of this classic book. This makes me rather inconsequential, I'm OK with that. At a younger age I could quote chapter and verse from this book and did many times to help me get through the years. Now as an old man I am only waiting for the immortal creature with the expensive complexion to show up and insult me, I understand that since my name starts with a "W" it may be a while.

Have saw the serial and the movies and read the books individually and as omnibus and different sets, hardback, still in my library, says a lot. Date wrong, just saw it to review. also listened to radio ones of course

love love love this book. First tine I've listened to the audio version. Stephen Fry is perfect!!!!
