I don't normally review books I haven't read in full, but I figured I'd make an exception for this as it's a reference book, really, but I'll keep it short anyway.

The only negative (and it's not that strong a negative) I have is that it's a more female-centric book. That's not really a bad thing, unless you want your teenage son to learn about such things, in which case there are other books out there. But you should know going in that this book isn't really for everybody.

That being said, it *is* very informative, I learned a lot when I bought it 15 years ago, and I'm passing it on to a young lady who lives in an abstinence-only kind of school district. Knowledge is power!

Actually, my mother gave me this book -- so it's less of what she never told me and more of what she waited to tell me in book form. Entertaining and informative.

My mom gave this to me right after I got married. It's really informative and discusses things in a mature and non-demeaning nature. I would consider giving it to my daughter before she gets married just as a reference.

For the many questions a woman can have about taking care of her body. What's normal? What is that feeling and is it suppose to hurt? Cramps, ovulation, all of it.

informative. but more for those who are just beginning to explore their sexual side.

so this book is everything you have ever needed to know and will need to know about the science of sex! a MUST for catholic school girls. it goes way past talking about abstinence.

This book is fantastic.

Very informative and I'd recommend it for both women and men -safe sex practices, new techniques, answers to common questions... but also "mythbusters" to help men and women better understand each other, and themselves.
