It's a spiritual pocket book. When you need to reset, or adjust your connection a higher force. This one book that I keep handy, when my mood take a slump, or motivation is decreasing, this mini size book has a way of recharging my mind.If spiritual elevation is what you seek, this book is a good start.
Well I knew it was Christian from the get-go, (and I’m not) but I thought, what the heck, maybe there’s still stuff to be learned from it—and there was. I had to adapt some words to suit my own beliefs, but the exercises were mostly nice. However, I found it somewhat confusing when half-way through the book the author started incorporating Hindu deities for one of the exercises. Like, this is a book about Christianity, and up until this point, the whole book had been talking about Jesus and God and how that is the true power… but now it was bringing in other deities for particular exercises. I dunno, but it made my cultural appropriation bells go off. Maybe that’s just me though. The many “success” stories interwoven throughout also became a bit old for me, almost coming across as advertisement, or trying to “prove” that the book techniques work. No legitimate book on magic(k) or spirituality should feel the need to prove itself. One or two of these stories would have been acceptable and enjoyable, but there are so many of them that it feels in-your-face. So yeah, not the book for me, but not a complete waste of time—and maybe someone who is Christian would enjoy it more!
I should also note, the techniques described in the book rely heavily on visualization, so some will be better at it than others.
The book is great, it helped me spiritualy, I understood a lot of things around and made me realize a lot of things that I never knew about life. It changes the prespective, and makes you realize a lot of stuff.
Both a good read and introduction into the realm of Elizabeth Clare Prophet. While coming at this from a spiritual background, the concepts presented weren't confusing and I would suggest it for someone newer in their exploration. While understandable with the background of Prophet and Summit Lighthouse in general, I personally couldn't vibe with the Christian language used just because of my own past with Christianity, but I was able to relate them to more broad terminology that helped me digest the book better. Christ Self with Higher self (obviously), God with the Universe or the One, things of that nature. Despite its Christian language, however, I was pleasantly surprised by how many religious sources the book references. It definitely shows that this book is intended for everyone, not just Christian adjacents.
I am in total surprise to see the power of these prayers. I am more into meditation than prayer but decided to give it a try. I am one of those people that has to see to believe. There is amazing power in this tiny book.
Probably the best book to guide prayer I've read. The daily prayers or decrees, connect you with your higher self and Christ center. Combining this with silent meditation connection will be made and your journey to Spiritual Transformation will be under way.
