This book is superb. Though it's intended for children, it's interesting enough for adults, as well. I've read many books about Laura Ingalls Wilder and Rose Wilder, but this one still gave me additional information I didn't know before. It starts at the beginning of Laura's life and ends at the end of her life, filling many of the gaps from Laura's stories. I highly recommend it.

If you've read all the Little House books, read this one! Laura's life was a lot different than the books, mostly sequencing and such, but still so amazing! It's like reading two totally different stories that are still connected! And I didn't even feel bad that the stories weren't the same! Laura's real life and "fake" life are both so awesome! So just go read this book because it will give you perspective and a whole new look at Laura! Yeah, I used too many !!!! Go ahead and judge me if you want, but first read this book!
