Wow as I am going through this book my skin is crawling like the first time I found out about dust mites, l wish cleaning product commercial had to have disclaimers similar to prescription drugs...more to come! B

This was my first book to read on green housekeeping. It was an easy read with easy to follow tips. It's a big book, but I enjoyed it. Most of what I remember and apply...white vinegar is great for cleaning just about anything. Oh, and newspaper on glass is the best!

I picked up this one from the library...glad I didn't buy it. The 4 stars are mainly for one chapter...the one on bathrooms. The others weren't really new information (to me) and some of the stuff was just a little over-the-top. I would say for the book overall, 2 or 2.5 stars.

This book is for the person that wants to green the way they clean. I found it to be a very interesting book. One thing that I really like about it is the plethora of research the author puts forth, but she includes where she found the information so you can look it up yourself. I found it to be a really good reference book and have pulled it off the shelf many times for all types of catastrophes. The author includes everything from soup to nuts.
