Little Miss Splendid becomes jealous when a princess moves in next door.
Much like the evil queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Little Miss Splendid has a magic mirror. Every morning she asks it, "Mirror, mirror, on the wall, who is the most splendid of all?" to which it usually replies, "Little Miss Splendid is the most splendid of all." But when a princess moves into the castle next door, the mirror tells Little Miss Splendid, "The Princess next door is the most splendid of all."
Little Miss Splendid becomes extremely jealous and sabotages the princess by having three of the most blundering Mr. Men and Little Miss characters -- Mr. Bump, Little Miss Scatterbrain, and Mr. Muddle -- apply to be her servants. Thanks to their incompetence, Little Miss Splendid once again becomes the most splendid of all.
Not our favourite but splendid is a hard word for a 3 year old to understand. A nice tale with comparisons to the tale of Snow White. Some nice twists and love the last line although not sure a Queen is more splendid than a princess.
