Loved it! It's a quick read ~ I read it in a day. I really enjoy her writing style ~ it's sarcastic and funny. I've also read her Autobiography of a Fat Bride: True Tales of a Pretend Adulthood and loved it!

This didn't do much for me - Notaro is writing in a similar vein as David Sedaris, but for me it wasn't as funny. I really don't have much to say about this - I hope the group that made it to the book club meeting had some thoughts.

If you read this one around other people, you will WEAR THEM OUT, because you'll want to constantly read the stories out-loud to them. However, my husband actually found them funny - or else he was just being nice - who knows?!

Hillarious. Might have to make this a tradition to read EVERY Christmas.

Lost interest about half way through and never finished. I'm still marking it as read since I wasted about 3 hours of my life on this book.

This book is damn funny. At 99 pages it's a quick read, I identified with some of the hilarity more than any normal person should. It's up there with Sedaris as funny funny stuff.

If you're going to steal one book this year - make it this one. I always need a laugh around the holidays and some of the stories in this book had me in stitches.

A funny, quick read - loved the one about taking Nana shopping in the mall (if you've ever shopped with anyone over 75 you can relate)! Some felt recycled to be put into a "Christmas" book, but most worked and were enjoyable. Recommended for a holiday "pick me up."

Very quick read - I should have read her books in order. She definitely pulled stories from this holiday centric book in her later books. Still funny as always.

These books are funny, but the author tends to repeat stories throughout her books.

Not as funny as I thought it'd be. Deck the Malls chapter is worth reading for sure though.
