The Crimes and Punishments of Miss Payne

Barry Jonsberg is an amazing author, from how in depth he can make up a story and for it to seem like you're entering into someone's life. Being able to see things from a different person's perspective is amazing because you're imagining what they think and it changes your thought. It also allows your brain to wonder and connect your knowledge to theirs which triggers you to keep reading.
I have never read something that gave so much detail on a kids life and experiences in school. I have always been a fan of books that allow you to find the similarities of their life and yours. So much humor and honesty in a book makes a good story. You can tell Calma and Kiffo are okay being truthful and doing what they want, from telling their teachers how they feel to doing a bit of stalking on Miss Payne. The plot ranges from real to surreal, which can work better then other times, overall it's a good read.
I have recommended The Crimes and Punishments of Miss Payne to many of my friends. This novel is very adventurous, Kiffo and Calma take risks just to figure out why Miss Payne is a pain. I've always enjoyed books like The Crimes and Punishments of Miss Payne. Always funny and action packed from the beginning to end. I would recommend this book to people that enjoy more of a funny book then serious. This book has times where things get serious and everyone gets down to business but otherwise it is very venturesome and funny.
