A hilarious set of loosely connected vignettes that capture the comedian’s undeniable wit and frankness. If you’re looking for a book that pokes full at everything from politics to Hollywood this is your book.
I applaud Sykes for making this book feel like watching one of her comedy stand-ups.
Despite my glowing review, I have to admit that Sykes’s confession of purposely putting filler to meet the required word count for a proper book was disappointing. To a certain extent, Wanda’s confession is true. For one, she does use this confession to comedic effect but you can tell when she’s not giving it her all.
