I liked so much the first book of this series with its steampunk atmospheres and English location, but I found “Prince of Ice” still more amazing!!!
The Japan background is fantastic, it has created the correct contrast between the alien technologies and the oriental traditions.
Both of the principal characters are described very well in particular their own growing, from children with character problems to conscious adults; only in the novel end they accepted that were different respect others Yama, but to this more specials.
I don’t understand how I can love this series and hate in the same way the series of Fitz Clare; in the “Prince of Ice” the love and the erotic scenes are important, but haven't disturbed, rather added a surplus.
Further the Yama world is wrote in fantastic mode, with many particulars that made intriguing and attracting the reading.
