I have been trying to work in my reading some of the books that have been hanging out on various shelves for years. This Ya Ya story was mostly about the growing up years of Vivi's four kids. Fun escapades and occasional insightful snip its, just like the other books.

Easy nice read...love the adventures of Ya ya's and the Petites.....love the fact it started with a Peacan ... YAYA !

Despite all of the many plot holes (intentional? Family histories always tend to have a lot of those) I want to curl up and live in these books.

I found the book so uplifting and encouraging, full of love and hope! The stories were simple but got a sense of humour and a lesson. I'm glad I chose to buy this book at the old bookstore, and I'm also glad that at least someone.. out there in my country had read this book, known about its existance. Still wish I could read 2 more of the series one day, I'll make it!
