This isn't so much of a twist on "The 3 Little Pigs" as a moral about how someone can change if motivated, and given the chance. Actually, the 3 little pigs aren't anywhere in the book, so it's not about them at all. It's not a bad book, and it sends a good message. But there are definitely better books out there with the same message.

* Great for comparing stories, point of view, change of heart, being kind to others, not making rash judgements

* Making new friends, characters learn that the wolf is not as bad as they initially think

* Persuasive writing: Wolf must convince the other characters to trust him
