I have to say that I am only currently reading this book and it is unbelievably good. I didn't put it in currently reading shelf because I leave that shelf empty and I didn't rate it 5 stars because I'm not exactly done. But I can talk about what I've read. Matt is the president of I club and he wants to go on an adventure with 3 other kids: Tony, Hooter, and Q. But Matt's sister Katie begs to come, too. Finally they all say yes. Matt makes 'em go into the woods when they were not supposed to. When they come across a rowboat, the hop in and smile a strange smile that they have never smiled like before and back in time to December 25, 1776. That was the day Washington was looking for the Hessian's in Trenton NJ. I have read more than this but it's more stuff where Matt meets friend and finally they have to leave like Israel dying. I found that part very sad. But I have a question in my mind: Will Matt and his friends ever get home? I probably finish this review when I finish the book.

I have now finished this book and I now own a copy. Matt and his friends do get home.

EDIT: Finished LONG ago.

Read for school. Novel on our fifth grade reading list. Not planning on using it again next year. Really haven't found any great books on this new list. I miss my favorites from fourth grade!
