This book was pretty good. I liked the humor, emotions, suspense/action, and the family. I would read this again, but more for passing the time. I was as frustrated as Stella though, nothing like being blind and out of the loop. Shelia is a B though. I mean, 'man', really. Nina and Spike were pretty funny to 'watch'. All the characters were great and I enjoyed the odd ones the best. Sylvia, Weasel and Paint Bucket were great additions to this book and the whole thing was like a great get-together with every situation, you never knew who would do what. Enjoy

2020 bk 121. The third of the Stella trio, and I'm surprised there wasn't a fourth book out there. Definitely some loose ends hanging. A former high school rival of Stella's hires her, only gets blown up before she actually tells Stella what the problem is. The plot rests on a lot of high school memories and behaviors and friendships. It was good, the characters were strong and fun, but maybe I'm just tired of staying inside. This title didn't click as well with me as the others did.

I don't usually read Silhouettes but this one sounded interesting. It's part of the Bombshell series.

I really enjoyed this book. Stella was reminiscent of Stephanie Plum (a P.I. in a series I enjoy) and Bartholomew reminded me of Janet Evanovich. There was a cast of wacky characters who were funny and caring.

I'll definitely be looking for other books by this author and in this series.

A little outlandish at times, but entertaining to read, nonetheless. In a book where every character has a secret agent style past, it's a little silly to think they can outwit the Ukrainian spies and CIA in a bid to save a former classmate, but they manage it. Only to find out that everything isn't as it seems. Of course, along the way Stella and her partner declare their eternal love... blah blah blah.
