Really really disappointing. I love Stephanie Plum, but couldn't believe this mini book had been written by the same author. If you love the number books don't bother with these inbetween the numbers books.

Fluff.

It was cute and strange, but there was some strongly-hinted and possibly confirmed magic that doesn't fit the main series at all so as long as it stays out of the main series it is okay. I'd describe it like fanservice although it isn't the sex scene the author suggests the readers want in the way she writes the love triangle, so fluff, or non-cannon holiday filler.

I read many Stephanie Plum novels more than ten years ago and this was a fun holiday edition. I enjoyed reconnecting and laughing with the characters while Stephanie finds herself in yet another wacky crazy situation, but this time during the holidays.

As always Stephanie Plum is funny. That is why I love her! It is Christmas and only 3 days and she has nothing, no Tree, no presents, no decorations and she did not send out Christmas Cards much to the disappointment of her Mother.

She wakes up and finds as Grandma Mazur says a "Stud muffin" in her kitchen. She does not know who he is or how he got in her apartment. He does not give any answers to Stephanie's questions, but he is going with her on her job. She is looking for someone named Sandy Claws who is an FTA, (Failed to Appear) in court and she needs to bring him in.

Diesel the stud muffin is also looking for a guy named Ring. As it turns out, Ring and Sandy Claws are friends and both are wanted by the cops!

This is a typical Stephanie Plum with Lula "helping" and all hell breaks out as the three of them get close to Ring and Sandy.

Stephanie's car gets blown up and she has to ride with Diesel in his Jaguar, oh poor thing!

This is a good book as all Janet's Plum books are. Well written and keeps the reader glued to the pages.

I will recommend it to my friends and family. Hope there will be more!

This is book 8.5 in the Stephanie Plum series meaning it takes place between books 8 and 9. It's a holiday novella.

It was cute.

It wasn't as good as the usual novels, the characters weren't as good, the humor wasn't as good, the mystery wasn't as good but it was cute. I would have liked a little bit more into Diesel, what he is, where he came from etc. etc. etc. but it was a quick novella with a holiday twist.

It was worth the 90 minutes it took me to read it, I enjoyed it.

Light and ridiculous. Made me guffaw in several places. Finished in a day. Exactly what I needed.

If you like Stephanie Plum already you know what you're getting into from the first page - lots of fast dialogue, snarky comebacks, crazy family scenes, a small measure of violence which somehow makes you laugh when you probably shouldn't be...and a mystery to solve that involves someone who probably should just turn themselves in and be done with it.

Yep, that's a Stephanie Plum adventure. Now set it at Christmastime, add in a strange character named Diesel who is definitely supernatural in some capacity and make the villain Santa Claus and you've got something special.

I laughed. A lot. This was a fun book, which is definitely worth tracking down if you're a fan. I only wish I'd read this at Christmas.

I think I'm done going back to this series. I really enjoyed the first three and then just had the hardest time getting past the fourth and fifth.

So why decide to read this one, you might ask? Well, I guess because it's Christmas and I figured, why not, might be good.

WRONG. It was MEH. And very very short. Which, on the one hand is a blessing, since as just mentioned, it was just MEH. But on the other hand, is rather ANNOYING since I paid full price for the e-book, which, again, was MEH!

So all in all, I've made a decision. I am done with this series.

Not as good as the regular number books. However was a cute quick read.

Terrible. All the stupid slapstick sit-com shit with a supernatural twist. There's an FTA named Sandy Claws. For real.
