An interesting concept of the afterlife that parallels in some ways to what I've experienced. Not sure how credible, but certainly tantalizingly specific food for thought.

One of my elderly woman brought this book from the library, gave it to me, and told me to read it out loud to her.. next thing you know, over the time frame of 3 days, I have a group of people around me listening and we had very good conversation about this today. Yes.. it was a little heated at times because you have so many people and so many opinions, but all in all this was a great book. They really enjoyed it and so did I.. if not for what the book was about, then atleast for the fact that it gave elderly people whom are closer to death and what possibly comes after it than a lot of us reading this, a chance to really think and use their brains for more than BINGO.
They talked about their own experiences, the things they have seen and/or felt when someone has passed in the room.. the things they have heard others say in the hours leading up to their deaths.. This book had everyone thinking and I honestly believe that is what it was put in my hands to do.

Despite any religious belief you might have, her ideas and philosophy are interesting. Some of it is weakly supported by science and facts, but for the most part, you have to read this book with an open mind.

I can’t personally take this book as nonfiction but it’s worth the read as a possible way of viewing the world and universe if you’re open to alternate ways of seeing things.

Insightful…

Not for the happily ever afters. She is blunt and straight to the point. No sugarcoating or being discreet. She speaks of what she sees, whether good or bad.

I’ve been reading Sylvia Browne’s books in an attempt to get back in touch with my spirituality and something outside of myself as I’ve been suffering inside a dark depression that was weighing me down. Her knowledge of Father God and Mother God , spirit guides, angels, and life on the other side is vast. I needed something to believe in and hold onto. This is it. Everything she talks about resonates true to me. I needed these reminders for protection, guidance, and support through heavy grief. It’s all here. I think maybe this was the 6th of her books I’ve read now and I’m pretty sure I’ll keep going. One of the things in particular that blew me away is when she describes the Hall of Justice on the other side and what it looks like. I’ve dreamt of this place ! I’ve seen it and having her describe what this place actually is blows me away. I understand more now about visiting with loved ones in dreams and that none of us ever actually die. Our bodies do , but not our spirits. I feel very thankful for all of the guidance. I’m so glad this exists in print. I feel a lot less alone , less afraid, and much more in tune with my spirit guides. This book is beyond helpful if you’re in need of some truth and guidance or if you’re missing lost loved ones. Plus she explains the true nature of ghosts and dark entities , I mean I could go on and on …this book has everything and more.

A very interesting book.alot of information that I found valuable for my own beliefs.

I gave this book 5 stars. it helped me to understand better and put things in perspective.but I still have alot to learn .about certain topics discussed in this book.but if you are a curious .this is a good read very informative.

There were parts that were beautiful and really made me want to believe there is more to this life than just this we know. And then there were parts that were just too much for me ...

I saw her on a talk show and got curious. I grabbed her book at the library. I read the first half and kind of skimmed the rest. Not my thing.
