Good Read, Absolutely!!! Started this, thinking another free standing start, but soon discovered Joe Potamos' return from an earlier book, but then got even better Mac & Annabel also included! Minor story line, but still included & implied involvement. This could be her best book yet. Twists & turns throughout. Excellent writing job!!!

Did not like this book. Way too many characters that were not very developed and not really related to the storyline. It was hard to follow at parts.

The plot was scattered and it was difficult to relate to and keep track of the characters.

One of my favorites in this collection. Very contemporary.

The format of this book reminded of Tom Clancy's style. But I liked the pace of the book. Again the outcome is a reminder to beware the misuse of power in the fight of good against evil. (I seem to be reading a lot of books that have that theme lately.) Do the ends justify the means when combatting vice? The outcome reminded mean of a saying parents "jokingly" had when I was growing up: if you got punished for something you didn't do, you probably deserved the punishment for something that you did but didn't get caught doing. There is a thin line between good and evil; we need to examine our motives carefully.

This book, published in 2000, really grabbed my attention because it touched on themes related to national security, terrorism, and profiling based on nationality.

Its based on three commuter planes that are shot down by missiles in the same day. FBI agents are tasked with finding out where the missiles came from and who shot down the planes. The level of fear and hate written in the book gives an eerie sense of warning so close before the 9/11 attacks. It really brought me back (even though those were very different and this is fiction written before the fact).

An interesting story that involves many of our countries finest law enforcement and diplomatic staffs. How do you sort out the mysteries behind three separate commuter plane crashes that occur within the same day? What do these crashes have in common? Could these be coincidental or due to terrorists? Spend a few days with this book and you will learn these answers and many more.

This turned out to be a thoroughly enjoyable book. The characters were interesting and the plot was great. It seemed like it was going in two different directions: what connection could there be between the murder of a minor Canadian diplomat with commuter planes shot out of the sky with Russian missiles? I'll certainly be reading (or listening to) more by Ms. Truman.

October 2022. After January 6th at the Dc Capitol I reduces rating from 5 to 3 stars. Too much racism and anti Semitism.. It’s like this is a script of racist conversations and ways to foment more racism without consequences.Time evolves sensitivity.

Very good book kpt me wondering who did it. Didn't see that coming what a great read and great book....

Too many superfluous characters.

Read over 100 pages. Couldn't get into it
