Once I learned that Farina knew Pynchon and Dylan, I had to read this book. I was not disappointed. He was a talented writer with a great imagination.

Reread until I could stand it no more.
(Revised stars down to one. Loved this when I was 15. Clearly I can't go home again.)

Read this a long time ago. Liked it a lot.
