This installment wasn't exactly my favorite in the series, but I still loved it nonetheless! Such an interesting origin story!

Fun. I want the next one!

Not as good as previous books, but just the next serial of the story.

I can tell you that I enjoyed this book so much that I couldn't wait for my next audible credit to get the next book in the series. I actually purchased the next bundle, books 4 through 6, because I had to know where this arc was going. I highly recommend this as a fun summer read for adults who remember watching Pirates of the Caribbean with Johnny Depp. The audible versions are great because the narrator does a fantastic job of emulating Jack Sparrow's way of speech.

It was good. I like the little conflicts that rise up between jack and fitz. And the scene that the end withstandwith bell and left foot Louis was awesome. :) I almost teared up. I LOVE this author and as always, I've been given a good fun little read. Jack is just the best. :) hope I find book four soon.

a great series for pirate-loving youngsters! our 7-year old thoroughly enjoys having these books read to him before bed!
