... What's this? Elemental crystals AGAIN? (we had this in FF1, 3, and 4 already. But what the hell...) However, this game set itself apart in several ways including a nice Jobs system that allowed you to customize your characters and their strengths, so you could choose various abilities for each character to have a totally kick-ass team. The story itself was also pretty good.

This guide is a great guide to these jobs and what skills you can develop, among other things. Like the other FF strategy guides, this one is worth reading.
