Aleph Isn't Tough and its following book, Aleph Isn't Enough, are excellent books for the adult Hebrew learner who has hat least a basic knowledge of the Hebrew alphabet. The lessons are paced very well and are easy to understand. I would use this to tutor a student of any age in Hebrew.And, I use it to keep my own skills fresh!

Used this to learn basic Hebrew in my Temple class. It was awesome! I was able to learn the basics easily, very well laid out and informative. I recommend it highly.

Great book for learning basic Hebrew. But, be aware it will take a bit longer to get through. My class could not do one lesson per session. We had to break them up.

I love Hebrew! this was an excellent book. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to learn the Hebrew Alef-Beit and a little Hebrew culture as well. Awesome.

This book really vets into the nuts and bolts for writing and understanding Hebrew.
It's not boring and keeps you intrigued. All the exercises build upon themselves and helps
you along throughout the book. If you're interested in learning to read and write Hebrew
Then this book is for you.
