Nothing very special; just Dickens' summary of the Biblical account of Christ's life for his children, like a collection of Bible stories. The reason I rate it low is because although Dickens focused on "being good" and "trying to follow Christ's example" he never touched on repentance and asking forgiveness for our sins. He focuses on being moral and trying our best, which in a heart prone to sin is impossible. Dickens leaves out the most important message of salvation. It's just sad he missed the mark so completely.
