I cannot begin to say how disappointed I was in this novel from Follet. Flimsy, stereotypical characters - the cute blond beauty (gag), the gutsy Romany, the older and younger lesbians and the drag queenand the dashing American, not to mention the handsome diabolical German interrogator - and some unbelievable conversations and situations. I know he is trying to pay tribute to the real women spies, but this is ludicrous. The only thing that kept me reading to the end was the hope for improvement. Didn't happen.

Tal como outros livros do autor, esta obra mistura a história com um enredo emocionante. A adrenalina é a preparação de uma missão, que aos olhos de muitos, parecia impossível faz-nos ficar viciados nesta história.

Confesso que não “simpatizei” muito com a personagem principal, mas é sem dúvida um livro muito bem escrito, com uma história completa.

O que mais me fascina, é esta ser uma obra inspirada em casos reais. É muito diferente ver mulheres a serem personagens principais em livros sobre a guerra e, com um papel tão determinante.
