One of the things I like about this biography series is the way in which they open with an exciting narrative. In the case of John F. Kennedy, the first chapter details his daring rescue of one of the crew of the PT boat he was captain of. Chapter 2 begins the typical chronological description of the highlights of his life, but is careful to include interesting details that make the subject seem like a real human being to kids.
Students who are interested in learning about presidents or who have an interest in WWII or the 1960s would enjoy reading this book. It would also be good for kids who deal with physical problems (JFK dealt with chronic pain) or kids who feel like they don't measure up to a sibling to see how JFK overcame both these issues to accomplish his goals.

5 (Explain about book) I know the name John F Kennedy, but I don't know the details about him. He was a famous president in the US. He responded the Cuban Missile Crisis well to avoid WWIII,and US& Russia atomic general war. That is said to be one of his achievement. And he is famous to be shot dead. When he was passing of a parade, someone shot three times to him, and two bullets hit him. First one hit his throat(jugulum). Second one hit his side of the head. That is fatal wound.
