Disapproved of the author's implications that Christianity doesn't appear to include Catholics and other non-baptist christian secs.

It's been about a decade since I read it, so the rating is based on what I remember, which is sort of a Christian Da Vinci Code.

What. A. Bunch. Of. Trash.

It really skewed my view of the world! I've been so naive! :) Really good adventure/political/ thriller, though it leaves you a little bit messed up.

DNF. I'll give the guy a break because he said it's his first attempt at writing fiction. There is really no story line (or if there is it's very convoluted), no character depth at all, just a bunch of information listed as a scene but it doesn't stick with any character long enough to realize who the author is talking about. I had to DNF after the first few chapters

This was a great book to get a glimpse of what the future in America - the near future - might be like. At times it was a little too wordy for me.

Interesting premise. The super computing aspects fascinated me. A tad overdone on persecution of religious groups and clearly devil made me do it themes... but overall I liked it.

Outstanding story. Well written with a great storyline. Loved the characters. Kept my attention from start to finish. Highly recommend.

wow, that was some BAD writing. and i mean awful. cringe-worthy terrible.

more importantly, the story was farfetched and fanatical. the premise of a christian 'minority' being persecuted by a secular government with the help of a docile population could *maybe* have worked if they'd set the book *way* in the future...and had some sort of rationale for why that would happen.

totally just an excuse for pious sighing. ew and ick. if you want to read some christial lit, the Left Behind series is much less offensive and way more scifi-y.
