David Sedaris makes me laugh :)

OMG I LOVE THIS PLAY! I LOVE THIS PLAY! I love the Sister's secret to her tasty cheese balls.

I'd like to put this about 3.5 stars but it doesn't look like I can.
Anyway, this was pretty funny for the most part but from time to time I also got a sense that it was trying a little to hard to be Oh So Kooky and that kind of drew me out. Still, not bad and if you're a fan of the Amy and David Sedaris brand of humor you'll likely find some grins here.

Parts of this play tickled me to the point of scaring my cats. But as a whole, it doesn't quite work. Same reaction seeing it performed.

Didn't actually read it, but saw the play and it was AMAZING. I'm sure it would make a fantastic read as well.

Sweet, funny, quirky valentine to the oddballs of the world, and our need to be valued by others. Not sure that all audiences would respond to the Sedaris's particular sense of humor (or 12 step culture), but I loved it.

The absurdity of cheese balls, religion, and a Pilgrim themed family restaurant makes me want to see this drama live! There's something about the sound effects that are still cracking me up (cars honking, car tires on gravel, and phone ringing). So simple and yet too much.

I read this outloud to a friend using a different voice or acecnt for each character in the script. It was pretty entertaining. The Sedaris family is absolutely hilarious!

Funny, irreverent, a nice time overall.
