I don't know how people read David Sedaris. Listen to him and it will change your entire perspective on his work.

It say's "Box Set". What I have is CDs. The best part of Sedaris' work is having him read it himself!!

I loved this entire collection. Most of all the occasional live readings. However, the copy I have is Kelly's, and I've probably had it around five years now.

heard a few discs from a friend. as special as his voice is i really did love it. his voice fits his words. lucky him (duh)

I would give this more than five stars if I could. David Sedaris is peerless.

Boxed set of Sedaris's first four books: Barrel Fever and Other Stories, Holidays on Ice, Naked, and Me Talk Pretty One Day. I definitely prefer his autobiographical essays. Sister Amy adds her voice to some of these stories. Maybe three stars for Barrel Fever and Holidays on Ice, four stars for Naked, and five for Me Talk Pretty. Always a pleasure to listen to Sedaris read his work.

Some people are turned off by his voice, but not me.

David Sedaris is hilarious. I'd heard probably a third of the stories already on This American Life, but didn't mind listening to them again. Holidays on Ice was particularly funny.

best of the best - laugh out loud, even to the portions I've listened to him read, as an audiobook, or in person, read in the hard copy format (so 2012 of me) and quote.
