Pros: Cool retro drawings in this book published in 2005, who doesn't love bath time

Cons: Not loving the kidnapping storyline of a female rubber ducky by a mean male pirate

This was read to special needs class. I suspect some of my other sons would like it more than Mr I did, but I also dont think it quite lived up to its potential. Great pictures but I did not like the name for the ?mother.

It won't help our splashing water out of the tub problem...but my daughter loves this cute and sometimes clever bathtime parody of superhero comic strips.

My boys loved this book. They wanted it read to them any time they could. The pictures are cute and the story is great.

This was challenging to read out loud because it's written in comic book style, so I think it would be better for a bigger kid. We also had to break it up over two nights because my son didn't have the attention span to sit through the whole thing at one bedtime. That said, my toddler seemed to enjoy the illustrations, and Dad told me that he enjoyed pointing and saying "duck" as he read it.

This might be one that parents enjoy more than the children. The younger children looked a little dazed, while the parents were laughing.

Wow, what an imagination!! I loved the idea of imagining that you turn into a super hero every time you go into the bath tub. I only wish that every child could feel this way, life would be easier for all parents if this were so, but I digress. This story is about a boy that pretends to fight crime as a super hero inside of his bath tub, and always wins because of his superior fighting skills. My favorite quote from the book was, "I caught you wet-handed." This book would make for a great instructional tool for teaching students that life is what you make it, and if you can imagine doing something great in a situation in which you don't want to be in, than you can muster through and be victorious in the end.

My 3-year old's current favorite. She loves the evil "Cap'n Squeegee".
