Not bad. A friend of mine gave it to me and I didn't realize it was a series. Oops!!

This is the second in a wonderful trilogy involving a Texas family. This one doesn't have quite the same excitement as the first book, but it's worth reading if only to absorb yourself with this family, who are completely crazy, but in an appealing sort of way. It's like reading a soap opera that you can enjoy at your own pace.

Fun read but this series needs to be read in the order written. One lesson is that money can’t buy happiness or health.
Interesting plot and story line.

Better story than Texas Rich. More plausible and I liked the relationships between the family more in this one than Texas Rich.

LOVED. THIS. SERIES. This is book four in Fern Michael's Texas series. I've read them all because the stories just flowed and I couldn't stop myself from going on to the next book immediately. The Coleman story, along with all of the other families not on center stage, was a writing triumph. Great job Ms. Michaels!!

Lots of problems -- too many for rich people. Maggie and Rand, Amelia and Cory, Sawyer and her brain tumor, new and temp low life Ben Simms and his daughter Luana and her loose ways that came and went quickly... At least the story moved along...

I much preferred this style of writing of Fern Michaels. The Texas series was fantatic, a gripping saga you don't want to put down.
