Although I haven't read this edition, I read all the novels decades ago and loved them. Ian Fleming is a great story teller and these novels just whisked me away to a more exotic world than most of us live in. The movies are great fun, but the books are better.

Dr. No is 6th in the series, but was the first Bond movie, with Sean Connery and Ursula Andress. The book is in some ways very different from the movie, no radioactivity, for example. The escape sequence is pretty good, at least in its conception.
