This was a great mystery!!!! I really enjoyed, easy, fun, cozy, keeps you guessing kind of mystery!!! This book kept me on the edge of my seat. I can't wait to read the rest of the books in this series!!

I think I might be too old for this style of mystery. It's just a straight up, classic mystery with no pizazz. I like my mysteries with something extra thrown in (aka magic, or literally anything interesting).

I do applaud the use of the Baker Street Irregulars, but honestly, JUST GIVE ME SOME PIZAZZ.

I quite enjoyed this book. The writing style does not match that of ACD Holmes, but as it's a children's book, I'm okay with that. I found the mystery to be very interesting and although I was quite disappointed that the story wasn't told from Wiggins' perspective, I did quite like Ozzie.

I only have two problems with the story: One. Why does it seem that every Sherlock Holmes pastiche not told from Watson's perspective insist on making Watson out to be a mean or useless person? I always loved Holmes and Watson the same, so I don't know why he gets portrayed in this light.

Two. I also have a problem with pastiches including the mystical or supernatural as means of moving the story along when Holmes himself would never believe in such a thing. While this only appears in two scenes by way of a circus fortune teller, it's still written as legitimate and although Holmes himself is not involved in these scenes, the characters who are involved believe wholeheartedly in the fortunes.

Other than that, I quite enjoyed the book and will be continuing the series.
