Magnificent read. Sheens Marian theology is so staunch at times. Even I, a Catholic, was surprised at how venerated she was at times. However, Fulton has inspired a new love within my heart and a new respect for both Mary and all women. For all have a resemblance of her, and it’s up to me to see it.

This is the first book I've read by Sheen, and I really liked it! It is very well written, it was lovely to read and a good source of inspiration to love God with your whole self. Only Mary, Virgin and Mother, can prepare our hearts for her Beloved Son.

Although it took be a *few* months to finish, it was 100% worth the read, SO good! Fulton Sheen is strong and uncompromising about the power of Mary and her importance in this day and age of bringing the world to Christ: “His Mother would arise to illumine the darkness and lead the world to peace”!!

I love how he both dove deep into Mariology, the Rosary, the Seven Sorrows, etc. but also put the importance of Mary in the context of the modern world, describing the ways in which man is currently falling under tyranny of his nature / of science and how that can be rectified through doing God’s will and offering up our own will.

Lots of beautiful poetic imagery throughout that I especially enjoyed!

This was the first book I read by Fulton Sheen, and it was awesome! I learned so much from it.
Fulton Sheen is an incredible writer he does a great job at explaining things.
