I was looking for a good book to bring on my summer vacation about a week ago and staring at my book shelves for more than thirty minutes, I had no clue what to do. I usually pick a few books that catch my eye and suit my mood and I guess I just get a feeling for the right one. But this time, I was very uncertain just like I had been about everything that day. Eager to suppress these emotions, I decided to bring a random book. Something I would never do, that's for sure, but hey, never say never!
Anyway, I landed my eyes on this gem without knowing what I was getting myself into. This is the story about pure love from a realistic point of view, I'd say. Not many things in life turn out the way we want, but that's the beauty of it. Actually, what an extraordinary story! Perfect amount of sensuality, humor, events, descriptions and it's definitely not predictable. So easy to read, yet so thought provoking.
At one point, I had to close the book and just, think. Think about what love means to me, my expectations, past experiences and how it constantly challenges and changes us. Needless to say, I found myself connected to the pain this author wanted to portray. I usually don't cry, but I was so touched that the tears kept rolling down my cheeks long after I had finished reading the last page. Overall, a great book! Turned out to be the perfect choice for me.

Message in a bottom is a second Nicholas Sparks novel that I have read. My old friend gave to me three years ago. This book is remind me to forget someone. Don’t cry over the past, it’s gone.
NO DRAMA ANYMORE. :))

Y no le doy menos, no sé por qué.

Un libro super cliché donde Theresa encuentra un mensaje en una botella en la playa y se obsesiona con conocer al hombre que escribe esas cosas tan bonitas. Obviamente le encuentra y se enamoran.

El conflicto al que se van a ver expuestos está muy claro, pero no era problema para mí. Los personajes no he conectado con ninguno ni me caían súper bien, pero era tolerable todo. Aunque él me parece un dependiente emocional de manual (aunque qué espero de un libro de 1998) y ella, en la última parte del libro, toma una decisión que me parece muy valiente y algo con lo que comulgo desde siempre.

PERO ESE FINAL???? Innecesariamente triste, desesperanzador e injusto para la historia de los protagonistas. El aprendizaje sería exactamente igual con un final menos dramático. Vamos, totalmente injustificado.

En resumen: no lean a Sparks, solo quiere haceros sufrir sin ninguna razón.

Хареса ми стила на Спаркс, това е първата ми среща с автора, но на моменти историята беше много удобно наредена, да оставим и излишния драматизъм.

short fast and sad as hell

When I first started reading this book i had a hard time getting into it but I found it started to pick up to the point where it was painfully hard to out down. This book was beautiful, sad, and touching. You can ask anyone who knows me I do not get emotional over romance but this book had me ugly crying, but in a good way. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a lovely story that can be predictable at timea but hard to put down.

Not my favorite Sparks novel but I connected with the main character Theresa and felt everything she went through.

Li este livro quando era mais nova e é com certeza um dos livros da minha vida. No fim fartei me de chorar e lembro me da história marcar me por anos. Gostava de reler.

Its a Nicholas Sparks' ™ novel. He is a master of story telling and this book again prooves why!! This book is a perfect blend of rare combo of romance and tragedy!! People who believe in destiny must read it! Though I found parts of the book a bit boring, but the major plot was gripping and the narration was very touchy!! The romance between the lead characters was greatly narrated!!

On the whole a perfect nicholas sparks' brand book!!
