Loved this mystery series set in Leadville Colorado

The first in what became a winning series, SILVER LIES, introduces the reader to a wondrous setting, an unusual, even for the west, cast of characters and the writing talents of Ann Parker.It's an enticing read.

This book is wonderful. I'm so glad there will be more in the series. Inez, the main character, is very likable and interesting. All the characters are very complicated, and no one is perfect, as in real life. I felt like I had stepped back in time as I read this book, a time when things weren't as safe and predictable. The author tells an exciting story of life in a Colorado mining town.
