Probably the most hilarious book I've ever read (The Adventures of Captain Underpants would obviously be the alternative candidate, and between those two it might be a toss-up). I think I laughed out loud at least once per page, which is way more than I thought was physically possible while reading a novel. I only wish that more people I knew (especially law students) would read it, as it's as quotable as some of the most classic TV shows, such as Seinfeld (or SpongeBob).

Liked this satire on the world of lawyers by a supposedly highly placed employee of a leading law firm. Not much chance to see other people's viewpoints because it is always told in blogs or emails, but wickedly funny within these constraints.

Supposed to be satire, but sometimes is just true.

Would entertain anyone who deals with office politics.

entertaining, but sorta just seems to mush together all the horror stories about big law firms- which makes sense since Blachman never actually worked as an attorney after graduating from law school (smart man...)

funny take on big law firm life; received an advance copy of the book from a book convention, which was right before the NYT article "outing" the author. Verrrrry fast read and hilarious at times

Great ending. I'm not sure that this would be of any interest to anyone who hasn't/doesn't work in a law office, but I thought it was a hoot.

A fun, breezy, obviously blog-based read for the El.

Very entertaining, though a much less sympathetic character than in the online version. The story was cohesive and interesting, though I feel that I now take the advice in it too literally, considering it was not written by a real hiring partner. The ending was a slight disappointment, but it's a very jaunty read that I recommend.

The blog this is based on is hilarious and well-written...most of the time anyway. http://anonymouslawyer.blogspot.com

Some parts of the book seemed repetitive, however, it was a quick and funny read. When reading this book I was only distracted by the sound of my own laughter, though this may say more about me and my sense of humour rather than the ability of the book to make everyone laugh. I really enjoyed reading about what is [hopefully:] an exagerrated cariacature of life at a law firm.

A very funny book at times, and written in a way that makes it modern, easy to read and captivating.

I thought the approach to this story was immense and I could read it over and over again.

I would strongly recommend this as a comment on modern life (short snappy blogs) whilst also offering a humorous insight to the legal practice world and comment on billable hours.

Very clever, very funny
