From Hatchet, Brian never thought he would see the woods again.

When you become one with the woods, it is always calling to you! The last line of the book, ““Next time,” he read aloud, “it won’t be so hard to paddle. Thanks.” The simple humor of the game called life! Gary Paulsen is becoming my new lost love. My nostalgia from the first time I read Hatchet. I did not know about the series, but my journey awaits the adventure for book 3 of the 5 book series.

It’s my bday month, so let’s finish the adventure of life

it was awful and a waste of time. i only gave it a 1 star to show that i rated it but i dont think it deserved that. gary paulsen just forced it. i would rather be mawled by a bear then read this again. someone gets struck by lightning and is in a coma and they have to ride down a river to get to help. very unrealistic. it makes me mad just having to think about this book it was so bad. i was waiting for a change in scene but about half the book was a raft. brian wanted to teach boy scouts with detailed note taking, but the notetaker was struck by lightning (lame) and went into a coma (lame) so brian had to ride down a river (super lame). hatchet was good, brians winter was alright, the river was horrible. gary paulsen, the books get worse and worse. please dont write another sequel, the world cant take it. i recommend it to people that like bad books. just kidding. dont read it.

I really liked this book. It was fun, exciting, and a lot better than Brian's Return. Recommended.
