I have finally bought the complete set and now re-reading the series as I had read the series till the 8th issue but now beginning again. I had read this book last time more than 1.5 years ago so it was like reading it for the first time again. The story continues as L and SPA work to capture Kira and as such there is surveillance with 64 cameras and microphones in his room alone as such Light continues his journey as Kira as there is a new Kira on the scene. Let's see and enjoy the next volume in a few days' time.

I have always loved comics, and I hope always to love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics, Diamond Comics, or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I love comics to bits, may the comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

" Having a suspect help you investigate, while the suspect is being investigated...that's a fine idea."

Spoilers ahead!

L has talked to Raito and L's suspicions of Raito being Kira are increasing day by day.
Also, wouldn't it be fun if there were two Kiras?

I've never once considered finding that notebook and gaining this power a misfortune. In fact, it's made me happier than I've ever been. And I'm going to create a perfect world.

Light continues to be a psychopath. Light's dad continues to be a total badass. L continues to actually live up to his reputation at his own funky pace. This serious continues to be a lot of fun. I have trepidation about the reveal from that last set of panels and the fact that the next volume is entitled Love, but let's see how it goes, right?

What do you do when you want to keep tabs on your number 1 suspect? Get goddamn closer. Love what L does to keep himself safe while trying to uncover Kira's identity. Sometimes a bit oddball, but more often smart as hell.

And this is where the whole Kira story gets even more complex with the arrival of a new player in town!

Surprisingly, this volume has some depth to it. On one plane you have L directly involved in checking on Raito who is suspected of being Kira. On another plane you have L's views on Kira and his more aggressive new tactics to lower crime. This comic starts to have similarities to the Columbo tv show in that you know who the killer is and are shown how the investigators discover him.

With his room wired with no less than 64 cameras (how overkill can you get) Raito has to convince L that he isn't Kira, so he has to kill some people again. You have to appreciate Raito's attention to detail, though L still suspects him based on... nothing. Cause he's Sherlock 2.0. L stalks Raito during an exam and does so with his customary hugging-knees position. L has to sit like that, sucking his thumb, otherwise his investigative abilities are half as effective. You can only find this depth in manga.

L reveals himself and his suspicions to Raito who can't use the death note to get rid of L as that would make him the prime suspect. What a brilliant plan. A long conversation ensues where L is trying to incriminate Raito and the latter is mostly on the defensive. They are interrupted by a phone call about Raito's father, chief Yagami, who had a heart attack and is in hospital. The chief confirms L's identity to Raito who offers his help for the investigation.

A tv network gets several tapes from Kira where he outlines his plans for a crime-free world with the police's and L's help. Since they refuse, one of them has to die or else several innocent policemen will die instead. L agrees to be the one to sacrifice and uses his spectacular Sherlock-sense to figure out that the Kira who demans this is a different one than the Kira they have been dealing with so far. It turns out the tapes were recorded by a girl named Kira who also has a death note. Raito wants to control the new Kira to clear the real Kira name as much as Kira wants to meet Raito.

Another awesome part in the Death Note series, things are definitely moving along nicely. Cat and mouse game between L and Kira continue and now there is another player in the game. Things are sure to take some interesting twists and turns in the coming issues. So let's see where does the story go in the coming issues.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them.
