สนุกมาก สนุกเหมือนเดิม แต่ก็รู้สึกแย่มากเช่นกัน

This volume went a little sideways from what I was expecting, with Ichigo finally reaching his limits, but showing promise of being able to surpass them yet again. The interaction with Rukia's brother is still creepy, and I'm waiting for the reveal about what is behind that. Yoruichi's "truce" is very strange, but I think by this point everyone at the Soul Reaper headquarters is either confused or curious.

The battles that are being waged in the Soul Society Headquarters has me gasping for air but also has my emotions torn. While some of the Soul Society seem genuine in their goodness, some seem just as genuine in their cold evil approach to things! With that said Rukia's brother, Byakuya Kukichi (yes brother) battles with Ichigo...and this seems to be way too many skill levels above his current stature! Meanwhile, the rest of the team battles against people that appear to be evil such as The Captain of the 12th Company Mayuri Kurotsuchi! This seems like too much for our heroes to handle...or is it? Great art and engaging storytelling by Tite Kubo.

Well, I didn't remember Yoruichi's reveal that happened in this volume. I personally busted my small intestines laughing at Ichigo's response.
This volume also has the start of the ship for Rukia and Ichigo. Love that panel.
And glad that Ishida and Orihime are back in the game. Can't wait to read more about his fight with that demented Captain scientist.

Ichigo was so close, but he’s not ready so it’s time to learn how to achieve Bankai in three days. Mayuri Kurotsuchi has got to be the most evil captain we’ve seen so far and Uryū is not gonna let this go after what he did. Let’s go Uryū!!

Ichigo thinking Mr Yoruichi is just a cat was a highlight. Particularly since he escaped Byakuya while carrying Ichigo's dead-weight across the fckn city. And it turns out Yoruichis actually a hot lady, I was impressed.

I love a long haired boi so I'm excited to see where things go w the captain of thirteenth company, his teamies seemed as fixated on him as I was "I love you... I mean RESPECT YOU MORE THAN HE DOES SIR".

I also like the direction of Uryu's character, I wasn't a big fan at first but I think he'll turnt it out. Protecting my gorl Orihime and was a total baddie b fighting the sociopathic captain Mayuri. I was like bro, Mayuri, chill, your literally fighting children.

Byakuya was a little TOO fixated on Ichigo's mouth

The section with Ms. Yoruichi and Ichigo was so hilarious! "This may be your last time to see a naked girl" :PFollowing Uryu and Orihme was a lot of fun. I'm curious about the "second release" and shikai/bankai Yoruichi was talking about.
